Update 2022-Oct-01 - Siddhartha is now permanently closed at all three locations it ever occupied: 1471 Gerrard, 1450 Gerrard and 734 Queen St. E.) so updating appropriately.
Update 2018-Jan-20: Siddhartha has moved. As well it is now vegetarian only so we will have to do a rewrite of this in the near future!
Siddhartha is located at 734 Queen St. E., just east of Broadview, in downtown Toronto. The All you Can Eat trays contain famous Indian dishes such as Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Curry, Butter Chicken and Curried Lamb. Naan bread of course, cut into pizza shaped wedges is like a flat oven baked flat bread, cauliflower and potatoes (aloo gobi-not to be confused with the fish). For dessert, I love the honey balls! The waiters are friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is clean and bright. The music is low keyed and sounds a lot like Vangelis (see Blade Runner soundtrack). Lunch is $ 10.99 per person, and dinner is only $ 13.99. At early afternoon, you'll find food is fresh and only a handful of others. I suspect the dinner crowd is much heavier. The Siddhartha has rave reviews by Toronto Life magazine and is highly recommended among the Indian community. I would recommend it as well if you are into Indian fare, though I still personally prefer Japanese, you won't be disappointed.
