India's Taste Mississauga, one of three of this small chain, is located at 3075 Argentia Road, near Hwy. 3401 and Winston Churchill Blvd. We went for weekend dinner. It has a very nicely decorated interior and Mishy indicated she liked the lighting. As with the other location, it also has a serving robot which given it's a self-serve buffet is only used for picking up dirty dishes. We just went with the included water bottle as we usually do at Indian places; spicy food needs a lot of refreshment!

Fish tikka was excellent and had beautiful seasoning. Mishy said that the tikka masala was amazing. We both loved the chicken tandoori which was moist and very well-seasoned. Bhatti chicken was delicious, but watch out as it's very hot. Butter naan bread was so buttery that it glistened and was delicious. Read chicken tikka a was delicious and so crispy it was like fried fish. Kabob slices were delicious and beautifully seasoned. Rikka paneer was very good with a slight tang and well-balanced seasoning. Pakora were delicious and peppery.
Mishy loved the suji halwa, which I had actual cashews in it, and the butter chicken what she said was mouth-watering and delicious, and I agree that it was excellent. Murgh malai tikka is a fantastically seasoned chicken dish which I absolutely loved. Samosas were delicious and although a tiny bit dry were beautifully seasoned and I still adored them. Shrimp roll is a spring roll and was not only delicious but different than the usual spring rolls, which is a welcome change. Mushroom tikka is delicious and an excellent idea to combine the smoky flavours of the tikka with the savour of the mushroom... surprised this is not served in more places.
Soy chaat is a delicious and original flavour combination. Aloo paneer is another one. Aloo tikki chana is a patty composed of chickpeas, and it was fantastic... there is some mint sauce and onion as topping nearby. Homemade curry chicken was fantastic and full of flavours. Methi chicken is cooked in yogurt so was quite similar to butter chicken and was very good. Mishy said the chicken tikka masala was fantastic and I certainly agree was excellent. Chili chicken had a lovely Hakka flavuor, and chicken biryani was quite delicious.
South Indian spicy chicken was quite good and also one I have not had before. Fish curry was very good with an interesting seasoning I could not identify. Kadhai paneer was excellent with very nice seasoning. Aloo gobi was excellent and very well seasoned... as was so much here! Methi malai matar is an excellent flavour combination, and wasn't overly spicy which is good. Saag did not have any paneer in it like it usually does, but wasn't any the worse for it. Dal makhani was excellent and fresh and had a very nice seasoning mix. Chana masala, which is a very popular go-to dish, as expected was excellent. Aloo jura is another one with a wonderful interesting seasoning flavour that I can't identify. Shahi paneer is paneer in butter chicken sauce and was very good.
For dessert, cake squares Mishy indicated were dry, and she was correct in that they even seemed stale, at least a day or two over. Both of the different chocolate cake squares were the same. The vanilla cake square was much better and was fresh and moist. We also both noted that the tiny cupcakes were stale as well, not terribly but noticeably. All of the ice creams were freezer-burned on top, so it appears that they were turned to move the burn inside. Mango ice cream was excellent with a wonderful flavour and the freezer burn was not noticeable. Happily they have my absolute favourite ice cream flavour of all time, which is pistachio almond... it's just a fantastic fragrant and compelling flavour combo. We both loved the chocolate ice cream which was rich and dark and full of bitter chocolate notes. Cookies-and-cream ice cream was delicious. Rasmalai was quite good with chunks of fresh mango, although Mishy wasn't as enthused about it as last time, but no complaints for me. Currently there is also a 10% discount on the buffet but even so with tax and tip it was over $80; it’s $34 base cost for weekend dinner. This is a bit expensive but well worth it right up until the minor dessert shortcomings at the end. As with others in the India’s Taste chain, it’s memorably excellent.
