Update: 2021-Aug-20 - This location is not open for dine-in post-lockdown even though it is now permitted, and it is unknown if and when it will ever return. I am therefore removing it from the active list, and will follow up periodically and restore it should it return to AYCE dine-in status.
Sashimi Island, interestingly is situated in the "Little
Italy" neighbourhood in Toronto at 635 College Street. Not a
disappointment at all here and hope they never lose their quality and
service! The food was premium. For example, perfect savory, Miso soup.
Salads were crisp, fresh as was the Sashimi.
All the sushi dishes were perfect and beautifully presented. The chicken teriyaki was grilled to perfection and slightly crisp on the top just the way it should be. The desserts were awesome! Banana tempura and ice cream, creme brule (this is definitely a rare option at most AYCE's) and multi-flavoured ice creams. To order individually, it would cost at least a few dollars and the fact that you are able to order as many as you can eat is a real deal in itself!

By far the best Japanese restaurant in Toronto in my opinion. I don't want to sound like this is a bit of a bore review, but there is nothing I could find wrong with the restaurant, the food, the price or the service! :)
Special note: Although I've never ordered from the take out menu, I've heard it's a real deal!
